Diego is a Managing Partner and Head of Institutional Clients at Grantia Capital and brings over 27 years of risk management and investment experience across leading investment banks and fund managers. Prior to joining Grantia Capital in 2019, Diego was a Managing Partner and Head of Business Development at Quadriga Asset Managers, a leading alternative investor in Spain. Diego, together with other partners launched the first fund within the Quadriga Platform in 2009, being a PM of a Global Macro Fund. Before that, Diego was Managing Director and Global Head of Treasury at Banco Guipuzcoano in Madrid. Prior to that, Diego was a Director and responsible of Fixed Income Southern Europe Proprietary Trading at Société Générale in Paris, and prior to that was a Director and Head of short-term rates and derivatives trading at Société Générale in Madrid. Amongst other honors, Diego and his team at Quadriga were recognized as Best UCITS Multi-strategy fund 2010 by Mondohedge Awards. Diego holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management with a specialty in Finance from the Autónoma University of Madrid, Spain.
