Ignacio Garrido

FOUNDER & CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD

Ignacio is the founder and chairman of the board of Grantia Capital. He is the creator of the proprietary model based on risk and money management. Ignacio is a mathematician with more than 15 years of experience managing his own family office. Throughout the years, Ignacio has focused on risk management and in the development of new mathematical implementations within the model. Formerly, Ignacio was a professional golf player, joining the European Tour in 1994 where he won, among others, the prestigious Volvo PGA Championship in 2003. In 1997 he played for the European Ryder Cup´s Team. Ignacio has Math and IT Engineering studies from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, which he did not finish as he decided to dedicate fully to his golf career.
